Long cotton ropes strung with colorful wood pieces create a curtain for your bird to play, preen, and hide out on the pet bird swing nestled inside. Long cotton straps can be a safety hazard, so we recommend this toy as an out-of-the-cage hangout.
Frayed cotton toys need to be trimmed regularly to prevent toe traps. Birds with overlong nails (this is generally when the nail has formed the letter C instead of a half moon shape) should have cotton rope toys removed from their cages until the nails are trimmed. With proper maintenance, cotton rope toys are a fun addition to your birds environment.
